Aging Process |
|
Once they’re cured, the leaves are taken to the factory where they are placed in large wooden barrels along with sweeteners and flavorings and allowed to age. This aging process allows the added flavors to mingle with the cured tobacco and give Grizzly it’s one of a kind taste. This step also allows the tobacco to mellow and achieve it’s dark color. This process lasts for up to 18 months and is monitored constantly to insure the dip is just right. After aging, the finished tobacco is shredded to it’s final size, canned and ready to be enjoyed by Dip lovers everywhere. Now that you know how Grizzly is made, let’s take a short look at the history of Dip. |
